The house looks good.
I've always hated the interior colors. The main room was this vomit yellow/orange color. When we walked into the house for the first time, while house-hunting, I actually puked on the wall. You couldn't tell. As far as I know, its still there.
Now, the house is brighter and it looks bigger. The main "hangar", as I call it, is a very light blue. Jack's room is 2 shades of blue. The kitchen and office are shads of green/blue/grayish combos. I like all of the colors.
We bought all new face plates for the outlets and light switches. We got nice ones rather than the simple home depot white covers, which it already had. They didn't have them for all of our fixtures, but we found most of them. They didn't have any nice ones for phone and cable jacks, unfortunately.
There was some talk of replacing the carpet in Jack's room with a hardwood floor. We're going to hold off on that at least for now.
There are still a ton of pictures to hang back up. That could take months. Gina bought an 11 inch digital photo frame for one of the walls.

Congratulations to both of you. You guys are so funny. I love reading your blog. It brings back memories of my recent pregnancy. I had to make the same decision about carpet vs wood. I decided to steam clean the carpet for now and wait, and I'm glad I did because Jaylen has already marked his territory by soiling the carpet with, shall i say, what slowly leaked out of his diaper. Anyway, keep having fun with all the preparations for Jack's arrival.
