Dan came out today and started painting. This pertains to jack only in that his room is what initiated this venture.

Its more expensive, unfortunately, but seems to be working out. We bought 12 gallons. I was getting cold feet with it over the last few days, but its working out fine. Dan assured me that if it was crap he would know immediately. Hes ended up being very pleased with it. We have a light cream (mostly white) color going over puke yellow. Two coats were necessary, as expected, but coat #1 did a lot more covering then expected. So far, so good.
The main part of the house looks completely different now. The wood work isn't done yet. With the fresh paint around it, we now see how nasty the word work really is. How embarassing.
